What an AI ad replaces, and what it does not
An AI video ad replaces the shooting day, the crew, the location hire and the actors. It does not replace the idea, the script, the edit, the sound or the grade. The ad you see on our home page, 37 seconds on one meadow, has not a single filmed frame, but it has everything else every ad has.
It does not replace the exact product either. If the ad has to show your packaging down to the last letter on the label, that shot is filmed, or the real product is placed into a generated scene. That is a hybrid, and it is normal.
Where the hours go
The bill for an AI ad is a bill for hours, and the hours go into these five things, from the most expensive down.
- 01Consistency. The same meadow, the same light, the same grade in every shot. It is the hardest part of AI video and the biggest part of the work: every scene is generated many times until one sits with the rest.
- 02Script. A shot that sells is written before it is generated. No tool fixes a bad script.
- 03Selection. For one usable shot, several are thrown away. The eye that chooses is experience, and that is paid for.
- 04Edit, sound, grade. The same as for a filmed ad, not a minute less.
- 05Formats. Vertical for Meta and TikTok, square, horizontal for the site, 15 and 30 second versions.
Credits are the small part
Generation tools charge per second or per attempt, and one ad means dozens, sometimes hundreds of generations. It sounds like a lot, but next to the hours a person spends writing, choosing and editing, credits are the smaller part of the price. Whoever bills an AI ad by credits is not doing the selection.
Timeline: three to five working days
From an approved script to a spot ready for Meta takes three to five working days. The script decides everything after it, so it is approved before the first shot is generated. If someone promises you an AI ad for tomorrow without a script, you will get something that looks like an ad.
Example: 37 seconds on one meadow
The spot on our home page: a vending machine in a green meadow under summer clouds, the camera moving in through the flowers, an off-roader in the grass. Not one frame was filmed. No shooting day, no crew and no location hire: that is what it cost in time and people, and it is the only claim we make. Campaign results are not published, because they are not ours to publish.
When an AI ad is the wrong choice
Three cases where we will tell you to shoot.
- 01When the product has to be seen exactly as it is, up close, with the label.
- 02When a real person carries the ad: the owner, an employee, a customer who testifies.
- 03When the whole brand is built on a real place people know: a shop, a restaurant, a clinic.
What to ask a studio for
A script before the first shot. A test of one scene before the whole ad. Every format in the price. Source files and the right to use the spot wherever you want. And a fixed price: with us that is a number and a date within 48 hours of the call.
